8in Super Soft Power Pad, 5/8in 11 NC Thread

Power Pads are the surfboard industry standard for sanding pads.  Power pads are used both for shaping blanks and for sanding surfboards.  Can also be used for any sanding application such as sanding stitch and glue boats, paddleboards, body work, etc.

Constructed of a cloth face and urethane foam pad with an integrated metal plate, power pads have a special shape to the face to facilitate sanding without creating "wheelies".  Power pads come in Soft, Medium, and Hard.  Soft is generally used for shaping and sanding surfboards and hard is often used for grinding down fin boxes and leash cups.

PSA backed paper discs can be used or cut your own out of 9 x 11" sandpaper and use feathering disc adhesive to bond the paper to the pad (industry standard). 

Do not exceed 750 RPM with the Super Soft Pad
