WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy was developed in the late 1960's by the Gougeon brothers. They pioneered the use of epoxies for marine bonding and in 1969, they founded their flagship brand, WEST SYSTEM®. WEST SYSTEM Epoxies bond well to many substrates including wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and metals. WEST SYSTEM Epoxy is used for construction and repairs requiring superior moisture resistance and high strength; therefore, it excels at withstanding even the harshest marine environments.
