One Quart Bottle, Partall # 10 PVA
Polyvinyl, water/alcohol-based solution that dries to a solvent resistant film that is water soluable. Use as a mold release or to air inhibit small gelcoat repairs.
We like to refer to PVA as an insurance policy to make sure your part doesn't stick to your mold. Best applied by spray and can be built up in multiple coats to provide a solid parting layer between your part and the mold. Generally a thicker film comes off of the mold and part better than a thiner film.
Can also be applied by brush, roller, sponge, or cloth.
