Quart*, 3M Lightweight Body Filler with creme hardener

Commonly referred to as Bondo® 3M Lightweight Body Filler is an equivalent to bondo.

It sets quickly and is easy to work with a smooth creamy consistency. Can be shaped with a surform (cheese grater tool) in about 10 minutes and sanded in about 20. For skimming add isopropyl alcohol to make an even smoother putty.

Varying the amount of hardener will quicken or extend the cure time.

We often use it for plug work especially for making fillets between the part body and the flange area. For best results in plug work over coat it with a resin system or Duratec Surfacing Primer before releasing.
