ToolWright 3 Release Film

Toolwright 3 is an extruded fluoropolymer film with a pressure sensitive adhesive.  Toolwright is used to cover molds or patterns with a glossy non stick surface, this allows you to get a good surface from a worn tool or not spend tons of time sanding and compounding out a pattern.  Our experience with these types of films is that you can get a good finish, often suitable for a part that is going to be post painted, however it won't replace a mold surface with a class A finish for getting ready to go parts directly out of the mold.

• Provides excellent release from all common resin systems 
• Releases for multiple pulls
• High elongation and resistance to tearing allows for the covering of complex shapes without damaging the film
• Tougher than PTFE (teflon)
• Glossy surface is harder than PTFE and less likey to print

Sold by the yard, roll width is 50". use a carpet cut to lay down areas wider than 55 inches.
